When onboarding to SellerGeni, you’ll be asked to authorize the app through Amazon’s secure SP-API. Below is a breakdown of what permissions are requested, why they are necessary, and how they’re used.
1. Advertising Access
As shown in the authorization screen, SellerGeni requires access to:
Modify your advertising campaigns
Read performance data related to ads
Access your business name
Why it's needed: This access enables SellerGeni’s Autopilot and optimization tools to manage bids, adjust keywords, manage budgets, and report on performance.
2. Seller Partner Access (GrowZ AI Integration)
SellerGeni GrowZ AI also requests access to your broader Amazon Selling Partner account, including:
Selling Partner Insights – To provide overall performance analytics
Fulfillment & Inventory – For stock alerts and order insights
Pricing & Listing – To analyze competitiveness and listing health
Buyer Communication & Solicitation – For tracking compliance and outreach metrics
Brand Analytics – To enable advanced reporting on keywords, products, and category share
Why it's needed: These permissions allow SellerGeni to give you a unified view of your Amazon operations and power tools like Product Intelligence and Listing Health Monitor.
Security & Control
All data is read through Amazon’s official SP-API using token-based access.
You can revoke access at any time via Amazon’s Manage Apps & Services.
Data Usage Transparency
SellerGeni never stores your Amazon credentials and uses only the data required to power your dashboard, automation, and reporting features. If you have any questions about permissions, feel free to reach out at [email protected].
